The Milwaukee arena at 400 W. Kilbourn Avenue, formerly known as the US Cellular Arena, has a new identity, courtesy of Lemberg.
With less than two months to complete the project, Lemberg adorned the east and south elevations of the arena with 46 illuminated channel letters and 2 logos as big as 17 feet high and 42 feet wide.
The UW-Milwaukee name is now displayed in face-lit letter application. The signs on the south and east elevations are illuminated by over 1,900 LEDs and a custom perforated film displays the letters in a silver color during the day, and white at night. At 159 and 78-foot spans, respectively, the Panthers have undoubtedly made the most of their 10 year long naming rights to the arena.
Lemberg appreciates the opportunity to partner with UW-Milwaukee, Thiel Design and the Wisconsin Center District in achieving an optimum representation of the Panther’s prominence in the community.
