LUMIN Schools, a recipient of the prestigious CareerViewXR Production Grant, to bring immersive career exploration to students in the greater Milwaukee area.
The CareerViewXR Production Grant provides LUMIN Schools access to cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) technology, enabling students to explore diverse career opportunities. This initiative includes two VR headsets, a 12-month CareerViewXR subscription for up to 5,000 students, and the production of two custom VR videos highlighting unique Wisconsin career experiences. LUMIN is one of only three schools nationwide—and the only one in Wisconsin—selected for this transformative opportunity.
Bringing Careers to Life
Lemberg Electric is proud to serve as a local production partner for this groundbreaking project. Our team worked with CareerViewXR to create an immersive VR experience showcasing data technicians' vital role in the electrical industry.
Data technicians are integral to modern infrastructure, installing and maintaining the networks that power life safety systems, building security, WiFi, and automation controls for heating, cooling, and lighting. By highlighting this dynamic career, we aim to inspire students to envision themselves in skilled trades and understand the opportunities available in their communities.

Through the CareerViewXR platform, students at LUMIN Schools can access virtual field trips that bring job sites to their classrooms. This cutting-edge approach introduces young learners to real-world careers and equips them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their futures.
