Rexnord Highfield
Lemberg assisted Rexnord [Rexnord-Highfield], global producer of motors and related components, with the development of a custom built steel lattice framework for power drops that would allow construction work to be executed between two active work areas without disruption to employee productivity. Lemberg project engineers considered workflow, pedestrian and forklift traffic before creating the latticework.
This project utilized prefabrication capabilities to limit time on site. The team engineered a custom steel lattice framework for electrical power drops and distribution that wouldn't interfere with areas surrounding the area under construction. Installing this framework midway between the ceiling and production area saved installation costs of wiring from the higher structural ceiling. Prefabrication of the latticework further reduced the interruption to regular business, kept employees safer and the construction site neater.
