Deer Run Apartments Fire Alarm System Replacement

Lemberg provided the electrical install of a complete fire alarm system upgrade at the Deer Run Apartments, a 30-building residential complex in Brown Deer, Wisconsin.  Lemberg's certified fire alarm professionals provided the critical re-design for the electrical circuit layout required to conform to the existing wire raceways. The project took approximately twelve months to reach the projected completion date in March 2024.

The team provided a one-for-one replacement of existing electrical wiring, fire alarm control panels, and fire alarm devices throughout the complex of over 230 individual apartments. The team was steadfast, working in some of the most challenging conditions. Most of the apartments were occupied while the work was being performed, so the team was conscientious of cleanliness while in the apartments. Residents expressed appreciation for the team's respect for their privacy and personal spaces.

For the safety of the residents, the team worked closely with the Deer Run Apartment complex owners, the fire alarm vendor and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to maximize the outcome while minimizing system downtime.

After the replacements were finished, the team disposed of the old materials through sustainable recycling programs.
