Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS)

The Milwaukee Public School District engaged Lemberg's Signs and Lighting team to implement a district-wide update of signage through several local general contractors. In some cases, the new signs reflected name changes and in other cases the new signs were simply a refresh for the schools.  Signs were of a variety of styles, purposes, and types -- with both external and internal placement.

Lemberg worked with the school district and their chosen general contractors to find solutions and a multi-year timeline that fit the district's budget.

Not only were the schools themselves receiving new signage, but some of their athletic fields also received new signage and scoreboards. For example, the Jimmy Banks Stadium, which was recently renamed for a beloved local soccer star and coach.

Some of the schools received brand signage in school colors complete with an image of their mascot and an integrated electronic message center (EMC). Digital signage like this allows administrators to post relevant messaging to students, parents and the community from the comfort of a remote location. This is especially convenient in the winter months.
