Tom's Watch Bar
This project involves the rebranding of the old Mecca Bar in Milwaukee's downtown Deer District, which Lemberg originally fabricated and installed in 2018. After a change in ownership, Lemberg was contacted to provide brand signage for the new Tom's Watch Bar. Leveraging our previous experience with the location, Lemberg designed, built, and installed five new signs to fit Tom's clean brand design.
The bar is located in a plaza, where pedestrian and vehicle traffic are high. To attract more attention, the new signs feature long-lasting, energy-efficient LED lighting technology created to look like neon.
The main brand signage creates an impressive visual presence at 11'x24'. To achieve the neon appearance with the large channel letters, the team inserted one-inch acrylic through routed aluminum. Because the team had installed signage for the previous bar, they were familiar with the challenges presented by the building's open-tube architecture. A specially designed attachment was devised to allow the team to conceal all the electrical wiring within the existing tube structure.
Tom's Watch Bar in Milwaukee is its 20th location and surrounds passionate sport fans with a bigger, better game experience.
