Concordia University Siebert Dining Hall
Lemberg provided the new electrical infrastructure and data communications for the complete remodel of the Siebert Dining Hall at Concordia University Wisconsin, in Mequon Wisconsin. The space is used for student dining as well as professional and community gatherings and required an upgrade from the original remodel in the early 2000s. Having been a part of that original remodel, Lemberg was already intimately familiar with the building. This was helpful in the demolition and remodel.
The project included new power requirements for a fresh dishwashing system and an upgraded fire alarm system. The existing kitchen equipment was relocated, and additional equipment was added, which required new electrical wiring. Lemberg worked collaboratively with the lighting designer's plans to ensure the new design was constructible and within budget.
Lemberg's Data Communications team provided the structured cabling infrastructure and also the house speakers and A/V systems.
The project was performed on a tight timeline over the summer with the goal of completion before the return of students in mid-August.
Lemberg provided ongoing support and special projects for Concordia University. Read about Concordia's new PT/OT training facility.
