Pylon Signs
Pylon signs, often called pole signs or freestanding signs, are mounted on covered single or double round poles, square tubing, or I-beams. Pylon signs are made to withstand weight and weather and are generally tall, making them visible from a distance.
Since "pylon" refers to the mount, these signs can vary in style and purpose. For example, a pylon might also be a mounting for multi-tenant signage when placed near a shopping area; or they may include an electronic message center to facilitate additional messaging.
